Description: On the 6th of June 2023, the students of Class 3A organized an assembly in the school auditorium. The theme of the assembly was "Respect Elders," and it aimed to highlight the meaning and importance of treating elders with reverence and honor. The assembly was a resounding success, with students showcasing their talents through speeches, songs, a drama performance, and words of encouragement. The assembly commenced with Atharva Tandon delivering the opening speech. He set the tone for the event by emphasizing the significance of respecting elders in our lives. Following Atharva's speech, several students took turns expressing their thoughts on the topic. Akshat Verma, Ridit Naithani, Aniket Bhattacharjee, Shivendra Shah, and Syed Awaan Aleem eloquently conveyed the meaning and importance of treating elders with respect. To further emphasize the theme, the students of Class 3A presented a melodious song that highlighted the virtues of honoring and valuing our elders. Their synchronized performance captivated the audience and reinforced the message in an engaging manner. Chaitanya Upreti and Jayank Kanwal then shared their personal views on respecting grandparents. They highlighted the role grandparents play in our lives and the wisdom we can gain from their experiences. Their heartfelt expressions resonated with everyone present, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the older generation. In a theatrical representation, Krishna Ginti, Siddharth Ruwali, Dhruv Mathpal, Osho Joshi, Nipun Upreti, and Likhil Upreti delivered an exceptional drama performance centered on respecting elders. Through their roles, they portrayed various scenarios illustrating the significance of treating elders with kindness, patience, and empathy. Their portrayal left a lasting impact on the audience, showcasing the importance of this virtue in our daily lives. The assembly concluded with a prayer led by Mrityunjay Bhatt and Jashan Kamboj. They expressed gratitude to God for all that we have been blessed with and sought guidance in respecting and being considerate, kind, and patient towards one another. As a final act, Arpan Rawat invited brother Hector Pinto to deliver words of encouragement to the students. Brother Pinto emphasized the importance of listening to and obeying elders as a way to show respect. His words resonated with the students, inspiring them to reflect on their behavior towards their elders. The assembly ended on a patriotic note, with the College Anthem and the National Anthem being sung, fostering a sense of unity and pride among the students. Overall, the Class 3A assembly on "Respect Elders" was a remarkable event.
