Description:
The 13th Monsoon Marathon at Nainital known as 'Run 2 Live' was conducted on 25th August, 2024. A total of 18 students from classes 8,9 and 12 took part in this Marathon. The Marathon was held in 3 categories I.e. 5kms (Girls and Boys), 10 kms and 21 kms. Our boys participated in the 5km category only.
The route of the marathon was:
Starting Point : DSA Field
Checkpoint 1 : The Mosque, Mallital
Checkpoint 2 : DSB Campus, Nainital.
Checkpoint 3 : Raj Bhawan, Nainital.
Checkpoint 4: St. Mary's Convent.
Checkpoint 5 : Tallital Datt
Checkpoint 6 : Lower Mall Road
Ending Point : DSA Ground, Mallital.
As the athletes completed the marathon, they were provided with Refreshments.
The results were soon declared. From our school, Krishiv of Class 12 ranked in the Top 10 while Adhiraj and Kabir of Class 12 completed the race among the Top 15.
The athletes were accompanied my Mr. Arthur Knight.
